CDSS believes that building strong communities is essential to a healthy society. Effective community development practices help build healthy communities. Community development approaches are used to build healthy community citizens.

Citizens improve their community development practices by continuously learning about community development and applying their knowledge and skills in the decisions they make that continuously affect their communities.

Our Mission

CDSS is dedicated to promoting awareness and understanding of the community development Principles of Good Practice, processes, concepts and issues.

CDSS provides opportunities for volunteers and professionals involved in community development to increase their capacity for developing community leadership.
